Jay - Drums

Q

How would you describe the band’s sound?

A

POWER GROOVE METAL!

Q

How do you approach your song writing and what is your lyrical theme/content?

A

With an open mind, if one of us has a good riff we all build on that.
Lyrical themes can be about LIFE/SADNESS/FEAR/HATE/LOVE/RELIGION, anything that fits the sound of the music.

Q

Who gets involved with writing of lyrics and melody? Is it down to specific individuals or a collaborative process?

A

Mostly Bryan and Jaxon but it has been known for everyone to have their say.

Q

How often do you practice and have you any other gigs lined up?

A

We practice twice a week but more if need be. For upcoming gigs we have Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Newcastle and Coventry.

Q

What has been your best gig so far, and why is it so memorable?

A

It's gotta be Bloodstock 2007 because of the place, meeting signed and unsigned bands, the atmosphere, playing was a buzz, everything really, awesome!

Q

What was the last song you listened to, either on the radio, your mp3 player, at a gig...?

A

Bryan - Dixie Chicks = Not Ready To Make Nice
Jaxon - Slayer = God Hates Us All
Neil - Iron Maiden = 2 Minutes 2 Midnight
Simon - Pantera = Cowboys From Hell
Foz - Lamb Of God = Gig AWESOME!
Jay - Metallica = Judas Kiss

Q

Is there anything about the metal scene today that you would like to change?

A

New Metal and Emo/Screamo just doesn't make any sense, WHY?

Q

What do you think of the North West metal scene right now?

A

Cool, it's good that there are some really good metal bands coming out of the North West.

Q

What do you consider are the benefits of initiatives like Metal 2 The Masses Battle 4 Bloodstock?

A

Meeting new bands for gig swaps, meeting promoters, being heard to a wider audience.

Q

What made you get involved with M2TM?

A

Wanting to play the venue and a chance to get to Bloodstock.

Q

Have you ever been to Bloodstock, and what do you think of the festival?

A

Yes, since we played in 2007 we've been going ever since, its how Donnington used to be before it changed to Download, better atmosphere.

Q

What’s next for the band?

A

We are planning on going back in the studio and get some new tracks down, planning to get over to Germany for a week's tour - promote, promote, promote!
