Phil Ennion - Lead Guitar

Q

How would you describe the band’s sound?

A

Heavy Glam Rock

Q

How do you approach your song writing and what is your lyrical theme/content?

A

Usually songs are written during practice by coming up with riffs and then lyrics to those riffs, sometimes it's about telling stories and other times it's about personal experiences.

Q

Who gets involved with writing of lyrics and melody? Is it down to specific individuals or a collaborative process?

A

It differs; sometimes members will come to a rehearsal with something already in mind and other times we will all work together on a song.

Q

How often do you practice and have you any shows lined up?

A

Once a week, occasionally twice a week. The next show is the 20th of Feb, for the next round of Get In The Ring.

Q

What has been your best gig so far, and why is it so memorable?

A

We were once asked to play a show because the venue needed a glam rock band to support the band that they had on, made up of members of Sweet, Slade and Saxon. So we were opening for some big names in glam and some of our idols!

Q

What was the last song you listened to, either on the radio, your mp3 player, at a gig...?

A

Michelle Branch - Goodbye to you.

Q

Is there anything about the metal scene today that you would like to change?

A

Not really, I like where metal and rock is going today. A lot of the old tricks are back in use in rock and it's stuff that they didn't need to lose in the first place.

Q

What do you think of the Preston/North West metal scene right now?

A

It's getting bigger and stronger, as Twisted Sister say 'ya cant stop rock n' roll'.

Q

What do you consider are the benefits of initiatives like Rock On Preston and Get In The Ring?

A

It gives bands a chance to showcase themselves in their local rock scene, giving bands more confidence to get out there and tear it up!

Q

What’s next for the band?

A

Recording some of our new and old material with the new line up and put together a press pack.

Q

For those wishing to check out more, what is your myspace link?
